Almost all of my javascript code has been moved over to its new home at The Javascript Toolbox. Please go there to find the latest scripts, information, etc. These pages will remain here for a while for historical purposes in case anyone needs a production copy of old code.
Drag and Drop IFRAME Windows Using DHTML
[Javascript Toolbox]  [Example]  [Source]
Description:
The purpose of this library is to allow IFRAME objects to be dragged around the screen in the same way that popup windows or draggable DIV tags are often used. Since IFRAME objects always cover form objects, this makes an ideal solution for a simulated "popup window" on a page with form objects.

It requires almost no code to function, making it the easiest script to get up and running quickly!

Example:
Drag the two IFRAME objects around below. Note how they go over the form elements. Also, there are separate "drag handles" defined in each IFRAME document. This is done with no code in this main document, and only one line in each of the IFRAME documents to define the "handles".
